How to Upload Custom Resources
The Resource Library is your central hub for all teaching materials. You can upload PDF worksheets, link to external websites, or even build your own interactive quizzes.
Once a resource is in your library, you can easily assign it as homework, cast it to your whiteboard projector, or share it with the rest of your department.
Method 1: Uploading a PDF or Web Link
If you have a worksheet, exam paper, or a link to a digital resource, follow these steps:
-
From your Teacher Dashboard, click the Resource Library tab at the top.
Click the purple Upload PDF button.
A popup will appear. Fill in the standard details so the resource is easy to find later:
- Resource Title: (e.g., "Algebra Revision Sheet")
- Subject & Level: Select the subject and level (e.g., Maths, GCSE).
- Topic/Tier & Year: (e.g., Higher, 2024).
- Chose your Upload Method
- Upload PDF Files (Default): Click the drop-zones to browse your computer and attach a Question PDF and an optional Mark Scheme PDF.
-
Paste Web URLs: Click the toggle switch if your resource lives on another website. You can paste the direct web link instead of uploading a file.
Set Visibility Boundary: * Choose Private (Just Me) if you want to keep the resource hidden from your colleagues.
- Choose Share with Whole School to let other teachers in your network find and assign it.
- Click Save to Library.
Method 2: Creating an Interactive Quiz
Interactive Quizzes allow students to type in their answers and receive instant, automatic grading—saving you hours of marking time!
- From the Resource Library tab, click the yellow Create Quiz button.
- Give your quiz a descriptive Title.
- Type in Q1 Text (the question) and Q1 Answer (the exact correct answer).
- Click the dashed + Add Another Question button to add as many questions as you need.
- Click Save Quiz to Library.
(Note: When students complete these quizzes, our smart grading engine automatically forgives minor spelling mistakes and extra spaces!)
đź’ˇ Pro Tip for Teachers: We highly recommend always including the Mark Scheme when uploading a PDF resource. If you attach one, the platform will automatically offer the mark scheme to the student after they have submitted their homework, encouraging independent peer-assessment!
